Description

Five levels make up Caledonia, a traditional English townhouse (including a low ground floor and loft). There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms that are shared, one large bathroom with a bathtub on the first floor and another one that is larger and has a shower cabine on the lower ground floor. Large windows allow enough of light to enter the downstairs kitchen and living room. For those chilly days, there is a cozy fireplace in the living area. The kitchen leads to the garden, which has plenty of seclusion thanks to the trees that line its perimeter.

How does the neighborhood fare ?

Islington

Islington, which is in the same-named North London borough and is 4 miles from central London, spans from the busy Islington High Street and Upper Road to the surrounding Highbury Fields to the north, Southgate Road and Essex Road to the east, and Barnsbury Road to the west. Despite being heavily bombed during World War 2, Islington has evolved into a posh residential neighborhood with a vibrant cultural scene that includes outstanding restaurants, more independently owned shops than you can toss a stick at, cozy pubs, bustling bars, and a preference for fringe theater.

Surrounding the flat

In the center of Islington is where you'll find the Brick Lane flat. A variety of pubs, restaurants, cinemas, and stores can be found on Upper Street, which is close by. Islington Canal, which leads to Victoria Park in East London, is also nearby and makes for a lovely spot for a scenic bike ride or stroll. Farringdon and Clerkenwell are easily accessible from Caledonia due to its strategic location. Primrose Hill, which offers London's greatest vista, is also accessible on foot. The British Library is worthwhile to visit in the winter. For a night out and even more fascinating dining options, Shoreditch is also nearby.
